At Kelco and its subsidiary Western Consolidated Technologies (WCT), we understand the importance of remembering the lives lost during one of the most tragic events in our nation’s history. On September 11, 2001, thousands of innocent people were taken from us, leaving a lasting impact on our hearts and our nation.
This year, in honor of those who perished, WCT’s Safety and Wellness Team created a special memorial display to offer a space for reflection and remembrance. Employees were encouraged to take a moment to pause, reflect, and pay their respects to the victims of that devastating day.
As Jinger Kaufman at WCT, shared, “Today in memory of those lives lost so tragically, WCT Safety/Wellness Team created an area to take a moment to reflect on the lives lost to such a devastating act.”
The heartfelt tribute by our team included thoughtful details and a serene environment, reminding us all of the unity and strength that came from such a dark time. The memorial serves not only as a tribute to those who are no longer with us but as a reminder of the resilience, we all share.
As we honor the memory of those who lost their lives, we also recognize the bravery of first responders, and the enduring spirit of community and togetherness that remains today.
