Discover high-performance fixed-wing grips trusted by defense contractors, aerospace OEMs, and military programs worldwide. Our lineup includes legacy and modern control grips like the B7 and B8, Cobra-style grips, and V-22 compatible systems—engineered for platforms such as the F-16, A-10, and tiltrotor aircraft. Built to meet demanding MIL-STD specs, these grips offer durability, precision, and seamless integration into both manned and unmanned fixed-wing systems.

The B-7 Grip represents the basic aircraft control grip style. The single-piece molded design gives the B-7 control grip exceptional strength, while allowing simplified switch replacement over the life of the grip. This proven grip places up to two switches, as well as a single or two-stage trigger in an ergonomic position for the right hand. This compact grip has been in many aircraft, from the Vought Corsair through current production of helicopters / kit-planes in Europe and the United States.
The B‑7 started life in the WWII era as the control grip used on aircraft like the Vought F4U Corsair—simple, rugged, and serviceable in the field. Its one-piece molded body and easy switch/trigger swaps made it a go‑to standard that manufacturers kept reusing and refining for decades. Today, that same proven architecture shows up in modern helicopters and kit planes, proving the B‑7’s design still hits the sweet spot of durability and ergonomics.

The B‑8 / MC‑2 is one of the most widely adopted control grips in aviation – built on a single‑piece, high‑strength CAB polymer body that shrugs off abuse while making switch servicing straightforward. Ergonomic contours put up to five switches (four pushbuttons/trim plus a single‑ or two‑stage trigger) exactly where a pilot’s right hand expects them, cutting fatigue and shaving milliseconds off function changes. Qualified to MIL‑DTL‑22561 and compliant with applicable MIL‑Specs, the B‑8 / MC‑2 delivers a proven, certifiable platform for new aircraft programs and retrofit projects alike.
Originally developed as an evolution of early post‑war grip styles, the B‑8/MC‑2 gained popularity because it offered a rugged, easily maintainable alternative to metal multi‑piece grips. It saw service on platforms ranging from fixed‑wing attack aircraft like the A‑10 to rotary‑wing aircraft produced across the U.S. and Europe. Its success came from a simple formula: a durable molded shell, modular switch pockets, and a form factor pilots immediately felt at home with. Decades later, that same formula still underpins new integrations, simulators, and industrial control applications.

Designed for the V‑22 Osprey tiltrotor program, this right‑hand, multi‑function grip uses a multi‑piece cast aluminum body for strength and fast switch serviceability. A modifiable front switch panel lets you arrange multiple 4‑way hats, mini 4‑ways, pushbuttons, and a two‑stage trigger without crowding the pilot’s hand. Ergonomic shaping minimizes fatigue and shortens the time between functions, while engraving/marking and connector‑base mounting options support easy integration and maintenance.
When the U.S. Marine Corps fielded the V‑22 Osprey—a platform that merges helicopter VTOL capability with fixed‑wing speed and range—its cockpit controls needed to be just as hybrid and adaptable. The V‑22 grip was engineered to give pilots a familiar feel while accommodating a high density of mission‑critical controls. Over time, the design’s modular front panel and service-friendly construction proved valuable beyond the Osprey, making the grip a flexible platform for other advanced aircraft and customized defense applications.

The G500 Gulfstream Flight Control Grip is an advanced active side-stick designed to deliver precision, responsiveness, and ergonomic comfort for modern fly-by-wire aircraft. Engineered for seamless integration within Gulfstream’s G500 flight deck, this control grip provides intuitive pilot feedback and smooth handling across all flight conditions. With its high-fidelity control sensors, robust construction, and ergonomic design tailored for long-duration performance, the G500 grip exemplifies reliability and precision in aerospace control systems—ideal for mission-critical and high-performance aviation applications.
The development of the active side-stick grip for the Gulfstream G500 began when Gulfstream adopted a fully fly-by-wire flight control system and partnered with BAE Systems to create the industry’s first civil-certified active sidesticks. In 2015, the Federal Aviation Administration issued special conditions recognizing the innovative design, which replaced traditional control columns with electronically linked side-sticks. Following the G500’s first flight in May 2015, the technology advanced through extensive testing and entered service in 2018 as a standard feature. The result was a breakthrough in business jet control systems—offering enhanced ergonomics, precise tactile feedback, and improved pilot coordination through electronically coupled sticks, setting a new benchmark for flight control safety and performance.
